Zeco Group of Services Inc. (ZGSI) was pleased to be a part of the Steel Strike Ceremony for the One Guyana FPSO supplied by SBM Offshore. The event was held on March 28, 2023 and were attended by ExxonMobil Guyana President – Mr. Alistair Routledge, SBM Offshore Guyana General Manager – Mr. Martin Cheong, Director of the Local Content Secretariat – Mr. Martin Pertab and other senior officials from the business community and associations.
The event marked a milestone for ZGSI which prequalified with SBM Offshore for steel fabrication services and is the third company in Guyana to provide these services to the Prime Contractor.
ZGSI was represented at the podium by Director & General Manager, Mr. Mohinder Singh who delivered an emotional speech praising the hard-working employees who worked tirelessly to see the company achieving the high level of Quality and HSSE standards demanded by the Oil & Gas Sector.

After the ceremony and lunch, ZGSI was privileged to facilitate a tour of our facilities by the ExxonMobil & SBM Offshore teams. There was a strong sense of excitement expressed by all present.
We were thankful also to have senior officials from our Technology Partner, Massy Energy, present at these events to lend their valuable support.
