Drivers are responsible for safely and efficiently transporting personnel, equipment, materials and finished products between locations encompassing short and long distances.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for complying with all of the company’s policies pertaining to Quality and Safety as per ISO and Industry Standards.
- Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.
- Follow safety procedures for vehicle operation.
- Verify information or specifications.
- Drive vehicles with capacities under three tons to transport materials to and from specified destinations
- Maintain records, such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, or billing statements.
- Record details of deliveries or shipments
- Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, or brakes, to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition.
- Present bills and receipts and collect payments for goods delivered or loaded.
- Report any mechanical problems or equipment malfunctions encountered with vehicles.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Minimum one (1) year similar experience
- Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record
